Hi‘iaka & The Revival of Lohi‘au

This details the scenes of Hi‘iakaʻs epic Revival of Lohi‘au. Hi‘iakaikapoliopele has just reached Kaua‘i to retrieve her sisterʻs lover Lohi‘au only to find him dead and his spirit trapped in a coconut shell knee drum. Hi‘iaka goes through the many moons, performing meticulous protocols and using many natural elements to merge his spirit with his body. Each element depicted the leggings -- the pala'ā fern, the water in the taro -- are necessary in reviving Lohi‘au. 

This great feat of revival truly shows her as the Sower of Life.
